One theologian says we must learn to live and love wastefully-- meaning in recognition of the “my cup runneth over” paradigm. When spiritual awakening occurs we begin to live from a feeling of abundance. We feel like…believe like…think like…act like…talk like…behave like…there is more of every resource than we can possibly use in this lifetime! When we reach that state of consciousness then we can stop living in fear, anger, bitterness, revengefulness, and hatefulness. All of those latter energies spring from a paradigm of the limited pot: i.e., ‘the more you get, the less there is for me.’

We will post different topics for you to think about, pray about, and share with your friends. Although the topics will be different, they all relate to the underlying theme of how to live life better. In St. John 10:10 Jesus said … "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." Although this scripture is well known, most of us have lived most of our lives from the paradigm of scarcity rather than the paradigm of abundance. This permeates every domain of our lives: relationships, finances, health…and the list goes on.

Spirit has revealed that it is not the negative and harmful behaviors that others wish or do to us that cause harm in our lives. Rather it is the negative thoughts that we harbor against others that bring disease (i.e., dis-ease) to our bodies. Our soul can take flight when we lighten our load. There is so much to explore in inner space!
Simply stated, our mission at The Institute for Living is to help people reach the highest places of spiritual enlightenment in their lives. |

Although there are many churches around which provide places for worship, social structures, and guidance for daily living, many people are still searching for a spiritual approach to life.
